Calendar of the High King
The Calendar of the High King commemorates the crowning of the first High King of the Old Empire in the year 1610 of the Fourth Age of Eméreni Reckoning. It continued to be used for 1246 years, until the end of the Second Acèntyra-Dekàli War (i.e. 4/2855 ER).Old Empire dates following the Empire’s fall continued with the Calendar of Dekàli Reckoning (DR). Dekàli historians that are concerned with the period that precedes the Calendar of the High King use the Calendar of Ancient Reckoning.
As of the 654th year of Dekàli Reckoning, it is the 1900th Year of the High King.

Days
Each Old Empire calendar month has 28 days. These days are organized into two weeks with a two weekend days at either end. When referring to the month as a whole, these four day weekends are called Monthturns and Midmonths. When referring to the days of a week, the days are named individually.
